Henna Practice

Last weekend, my four best girlfriends from way back in high school (even back to Kindergarten, in one case), and I spent a girls’ weekend in the Poconos, just hanging out and being girls. They were kind enough to let me practice henna on them…so we all left painted in henna in various places. It was so much fun…and I think I did pretty well considering it was my first foray in the medium.

Now, I need to focus on learning to mix my stain myself (I used a premixed henna paste), using a cone with a finer point, and getting more control using the medium on skin. It’s quite different from pen on paper!
